Structured energy

With this type of contract, you index your energy at Real Time or Day Ahead rates but can also buy and sell blocks of energy at fixed prices—within set limits—at any point during your contract. You can trade blocks for on-peak, off-peak or round the clock (RTC), and buy them for your preferred time period.

This is an ideal contract if you want to actively engage in the wholesale energy market, with a knowledgeable partner by your side. It gives you the flexibility to capitalize on market movements and adjust your buying strategy, based on load changes or demand side management. 

Our flexible contract allows you to schedule deals over time, so you spread your risk across multiple decisions. We’ll also keep you up to date with market movements by providing Insight Newsletters, peak alerts and detailed reports. And, if you want to offset any portion of your electricity usage, just add our Green-e® certified Renewable Energy Credits. 

This type of contract enables you to index your energy rate to the Real Time or Day Ahead markets. But, it also gives you the security of being able to lock in additional load—in 25% increments—at a fixed rate at any time within the contract.
