1. Top rankings in DNV and ERCG surveys

This year, we achieved exceptional recognition in industry surveys. The DNV survey ranked us #1 in three categories: 1) Pre-sale; 2) Pricing and contracting; and 3) Post-sale, among suppliers with less than 15 TWh of contracted volume. This reflects our dedication to providing personalized, high-quality service to our partners.

Additionally, the Energy Research Consulting Group (ERCG) ranked us in the top two for overall satisfaction and ease of doing business. These accolades are a testament to our seamless processes and customer-centric approach.

2. Industry-Leading Net Promoter Score (NPS)

Maintaining our industry-leading Net Promoter Score (NPS) of +68 showcases the strong trust and satisfaction our partners have in us. This exceptional score, driven by broker and consultant feedback, underscores our commitment to fostering positive, long-term relationships.

3. Armenia Mountain Wind Farm PPA  

We made significant strides in advancing renewable energy through our Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Armenia Mountain’s 100.5 MW Wind Farm in Pennsylvania. This partnership supports clean energy generation and reinforces our dedication to sustainability and innovative energy solutions.

4. Continued market expansion in ISO-NE 

Our continued expansion into the ISO New England (ISO-NE) market has been a key milestone. We expanded our footprint in ISO-NE to include Rhode Island and Maine, enabling us to bring our expertise to these regions and highlighting our readiness to adapt and grow in an ever-evolving energy landscape.

5. New dedicated expert pods

6. Five years of excellence

In April SmartestEnergy US celebrated five years in business marking half a decade of innovation, growth, and unwavering dedication to our partners and customers. This milestone reflects our evolution from a newcomer to a trusted leader in the energy sector.

7. SmartestEnergy launched our brand-new websites

To close off the year, we were thrilled to announce the launch of our new Global SmartestEnergy site, and dedicated sites for all our Group companies. With a fresh look, seamless user experience, streamlined navigation, and rich new content, finding the tools, insights, and resources our customers need to power their energy journey has never been easier.

8. SmartestEnergy achieves inspiring milestones with Ecologi

Across the SmartestEnergy group, we’ve funded 39,716 trees, restored around 4.44 million m2 of habitat and directly funded the conservation of over 73,000 hectares of Amazon rainforest (reported, 10th December 2024). We’ve also avoided 316.22 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e) and removed 12 tCO2e; to visualize the scale of the tCO2e avoided, it’s the equivalent to 243 long haul flights, 784,542 miles driven in a car or 949 m2 of sea ice saved.

Through our valued partnership, we’ve taken the fight to climate change directly and helped drive positive change at a global level. We're proud of the impact we've made with Ecologi to date and are committed to continuing our partnership into 2025 and beyond, setting even more ambitious goals for the future as we continue to build a more sustainable future for generations to come.
