SmartestEnergy partners with the Women’s Utilities Network

In 2021, SmartestEnergy joined the WUN to support of their mission in developing and encouraging women within the utilities sector – a sector which has historically seen women under-represented, particularly across senior roles.

As a partner, we are proud to join other forward-thinking utility companies in collaboratively driving change across equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI).

About the WUN 

The WUN was founded in 2018 by five like-minded women. Together with the WUN partners, they have created a significant movement with over 2,300 members and free events. 

Louise Wapshare, CEO of Smartest Energy Business has already appeared as a special guest on the WUN4ALL podcast series, sharing learnings and insights throughout her career path, spanning across number of business sectors. Louise also discussed her career transitions and offered some leadership tips during the podcast.
